From Bryan Espiritu’s 2023 show “Passage,” this charcoal paint on paper work is a brilliant example of Bryan marrying his poetry with his brush strokes. The image is so dynamic, it has incredible movement; and shows different images to different people. The poem so powerful in its message, really delving into the deep issues of our capitalistic society.

Bryan is someone who I am incredibly happy to see focusing on his art more and more.
